A couple of weeks ago we received a donation from your Chapter for the "Holiday Troop Support" and we were amazed by the amount of funds you all raised to support the 82nd Troopers. It was amazing, but I can't say I was surprised. Because of all that the Tampa Bay All Airborne Chapter does, during our Veteran's Day meeting, we selected the Chapter as the 82nd Airborne Division Association's next "Chapter of Honor". The enormous contributions to the Troopers that the Chapter has made over the years, including the awesome event of bringing Troopers to Tampa and treating them like royalty, is what made us decide to Honor your Chapter this year.
Selecting the Tampa Bay All Airborne Chapter as the "Chapter of Honor" was done prior to getting the $4150 donation for the "Holiday Troop Support", but it surely solidified the reason your Chapter was selected. I want to personally congratulate all of you and thank you for all you do in support of our 82nd Airborne Troopers and for strengthening the Airborne Spirit in your community and throughout the entire Association. The Tampa Bay All Airborne Chapter brings great credit to the 82nd Airborne Division Association, and I am proud to serve with you in the Association.
Thank you for all you have done, and I know that you will continue to do great things in the future. Airborne, All The Way!!!
